I obtained my MFA in Dramaturgy from Columbia University; a summary of the findings of my thesis, which focused on how gender affects audience perception of character, can be read here.
I like working with new plays, adaptations, and Shakespeare and other classics. I am interested in digital dramaturgy, and the intersections between dramaturgy, audience outreach, and public humanities. I am always eager to explore how my academic and theatrical work can inform one another, as well as how theatre criticism can act as a form of dramaturgy.
I am also a playwright, and you can learn about my plays and their production history at my New Play Exchange profile.
